Multi‐Tenant and Hosted Environments

Following the much anticipated launch of SharePoint 2010 on May 12th, Mr. Burkholder and Digicon will participate in a series of such events that highlight SharePoint 2010, its features, and advantages.
John Burkholder is a Senior Project Manager for Digicon Corporation, where he is the primary business manager for SharePoint and specializes in architecting hosted SharePoint environments. He has extensive experience with architecting MOSS, WSS, as well as enterprise systems environments in general. John first started working with SharePoint in 2001 as an administrator, and has been working with technology for over twenty-five years.
Mr. Burkholder will speak at the SharePoint Saturday DC event held at NVCC/Annandale during the Special Interest Session: SharePoint 2010 in a Multi‐Tenant and Hosted Environments. This session will include a presentation and discussion regarding the configuration parameters, challenges, and opportunities for SharePoint 2010 in multi‐tenant and hosted environments. Delving into the differences between multi‐tenant and hosted environments, the session describes customization and process and data isolation. Attendees at the session will learn what integration points can be added to the multi‐tenant or hosted environments. This session covers technology challenges in the hosted environment including integrating into HMC, upgrading from WSS 3.0, and Federated AD.
